Raymond Ltd, a top manufacturer and retailer of worsted suiting fabric, has launched a unique Trouser Exchange Programme- ‘Look Good, Do Good’ in association with Goonj, a social enterprise.
The social initiative offers free custom tailoring services on a new pair of trousers in exchange for old trousers and, thereby, enables customers to experience custom tailored trousers made from fine fabrics.
Mohit Dhanjal, Director – Retail, Raymond Ltd, said, “Through this initiative we would partner with our customers to give back to society. By associating with this programme, consumers can experience the perfect fit that can only be found in tailored trousers. Given our presence in over 380 cities, this initiative will enable everyone to contribute to the cause.”
Raymond would accept full-length adult trousers of any kind and any brand in wearable condition. Consumers will have a choice of over 1,000 fabric options for a brand new pair of tailored trousers.
Anshu Gupta, Founder, Goonj said; “Under our nationwide initiative, ‘Cloth for Work’, people take up community initiatives in their villages, right from digging wells to making roads and then receiving the material with dignity.”
In lieu of the old trouser, a consumer can select from a range of fine fabrics to craft the new pair of customised trousers. This offer is valid from August 6 to 28.
