Refeel Cartridge’s new CSR initiative

Refeel Cartridge Engineering Pvt Ltd, in in association with an authorised e-waste recycling company, will issue Green Certificates to corporate houses, which have adopted the path of scientific recycling of rejected and used printer cartridges.

The company has taken up this initiative as part of corporate social responsibility drive. Used cartridges end up in the landfills creating environmental hazard.

Says Mr Samit Lakhotia, Director, Refeel Cartridge Engineering: “It takes 400 years for a used cartridge to decay on the earth. Corporate houses, which are bulk users, need to wake up to their corporate social responsibility and start recycling used cartridges. Through our tie-up with professional recycling company, we not only help them recycle cartridges, but in addition issue them Green Certificates which help in complying with the CSR compliance obligation with the Securities Exchange Board of India.’’

Printer cartridge refilling chain Refeel has more than 115 stores across over 80 cities in the country.
