Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd on Monday reported 42 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 30.88 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012, as against a net profit of Rs 21.77 crore in the year-ago period.
The total income increased to Rs 6,952 crore during the quarter against Rs 4,839.12 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
For the year ended March, 2012, Ruchi Soya’s net profit declined to Rs 124.87 crore as compared to Rs 213.20 crore in 2010-11, while the total income during the year increased to Rs 25,981.48 crore fiscal from Rs 16,657.93 crore in the previous year.
On consolidated basis, Ruchi Soya posted a net profit of Rs 119.42 crore during 2011-12 as compared to Rs 225.16 crore in the last year. The crose to Rs 30,283.56 crore in 2011-12 from Rs 18,224.64 crore.
