Food and beverage maker PepsiCo today said it has roped in Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi as the brand ambassador for its carbonated lemon drink brand 7UP.
“We have chosen Sharman Joshi to endorse the brand as his personality is a perfect match to highlight the brand's positioning of a cool and refreshing drink,” PepsiCo India Category Marketing Director (Flavoured Carbonated Drinks), Ms Alpana Titus, told PTI.
She said the firm would look at a long term association with the actor but did not disclose details of the deal.
The company will soon kick off a marketing campaign — ‘Gussa Hatao, Chill Machao' — to promote the brand on multiple media platforms beginning with television.
