ShiftKarado, a tech-oriented packing and moving company, has raised an additional funding of Rs 5 Crore from Star WorldWide Group, a firm in international relocation and fine art and event logistics market.
The funding was received in various rounds, with the final tranche coming in month, ShiftKarado said in a statement.
“We will be investing the funds to upgrade the technology to further automate our work processes and enhance our mobile app and website,” Sahil Mithal, co-founder of ShiftKarado, said.
ShiftKarado will use the funds to upgrade its website and mobile app using Artificial Intelligence, Machine-Learning, and Data Analytics. With its clientele expanding rapidly, getting skilled packers, movers, web developers, and analysts on-board is a top priority for the start-up and the firm will utilise the funding for this.
ShiftKarado, which has a presence across 15 cities including Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, is planning it is aiming to expand its reach PAN-India, where funding has a strategic role to play.
The Gurugram-based logistics start-up was founded in late 2015 by Atul Mithal along with other co-founders Sahil Mithal, AulinaMithalSood and Ashish Mullick.
