Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has been chosen for Golden Peacock Innovative Product/Service Award for 2015 for “Processed Overburden utilisation as stowing and construction material.”
The award will be presented by Sheik Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Social Development, UAE at the Golden Peacock Night Function to be held in Dubai on April 20, 2015.
N.Sridhar, CMD of SCCL is likely to take part in the awards ceremony and receive the award, according to a statement from SCCL.
Golden Peacock Award jury under the Chairmanship of Arijit Pasayat, former Judge, Supreme Court of India, selected SCCL for developing this innovative product which can be readily used in the field and has been certified as a green initiative by the collieries.
