Sony Pictures Networks-owned OTT platform Sony Liv is increasing its thrust on the food segment by partnering with chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Rajshri Food for food content. The company, which has aggregated 4,000 hours of content in the food category, plans to double it in the next 12 months. “Food is a big category on digital and one of the digital first categories. Our aim to introduce the category was to increase engagement on our platform,” said Uday Sodhi, Sony Pictures Networks India EVP and Head Digital Business. Sodhi said that currently most content will be in Hindi and English. “We will be adding more languages soon,” he said. FoodFood will be available as a live channel on Sony Liv. Our Bureau
