Adhunik Metaliks Ltd's standalone net profit dropped to Rs 3.09 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, against Rs 18.31 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year. Expenditure and interest cost ate into profits. Interest outgo was Rs 48.58 crore (Rs 32.91 crore) and expenditure was placed at Rs 280 crore (Rs 272 crore). Income from operations also slipped to Rs 355.21 crore from Rs 359.07 crore.
