Hyderabad-based fast Indian food chain start-up, Hello Curry, has acquired technology solutions company Fire42 for an undisclosed sum.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Raju Bhupati, Chief Executive Officer of Hello Curry, said Fire42’s cloud based mobile-first integrated software platform along with its analytical and marketing tools will be of much use for the proposed expansion of Hello Curry.

The three-year-old Fire42 has 15 employees. “Though its revenues are not significant, it is a profit-making firm,’’ he said.

The Founder–CEO of Fire42 Santosh Achary said his company has so far handled over one millions orders and helped serve over 3 lakh customers for various restaurant clients. He will join Hello Curry’s senior management.

On the future plans, Bhupati said in the last 15 months since its launch, Hello Curry’s operations had gone up from five orders to about 1,000 orders per day. “We have started in a garage but now operate six kitchens in Hyderanad,’’ he said.

Eyeing more buys Hello Curry recent began operations in Bengaluru and also planning to expand to Delhi and Mumbai very soon, he said, adding that growth will be both organic and inorganic as the company is open to further acquisitions.

It hopes to clock ₹10-12 crore turnover this year. It started with approximately ₹6 crore investments.
