Sun TV Network Ltd, one of the largest TV broadcasters in the country, has revised advertisement rates of its channels across languages. In a notification to the stock exchange, the company today announced it has increased advertisement rates for its Malayalam and Kannada channels from 6 per cent to 33 per cent and 5 per cent to 13 per cent, respectively. Earlier in February, the company announced tariff revision for its Tamil and Telugu channels in the range of 8 per cent to 43 per cent. According to the announcement, the new tariff will take effect from April 1, 2011.
