Taj Falaknuma Palace has been awarded the Andrew Harpers ‘Grand Prize as the Best Hotel of the Year’ 2013.

The Andrew Harper Collection is a widely respected publication read by all the high-end Travel Trade and a reference guide to the world's most distinguished hotels with unique identities that offer unusually high levels of personal service.

The Andrew Harper report cited that the award selections were based on particularly memorable hotels and resorts, comprising relatively small room inventories with bespoke offerings which demonstrate a consistent focus to personalised service.

The Taj Falaknuma Palace stands testimony to Royal Heritage and is renowned for the Nizam’s legendary hospitality, beautifully refurbished and lovingly restored. The palace allows you to journey into the clouds and into the glided ages, where grandeur and excess is celebrated and savoured in equal measure.

Once home to the world-renowned Kohinoor and Jacob diamonds, the Palace was the former residence of the most extravagant royal family.

Andrew Harper selects 20 hotels each year for the most memorable experiences as part of the 2013 Grand Awards winners. This year Taj Falaknuma Palace makes it to the coveted list.
