Hotel chain Taj Group has announced its partnership with the Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs for its “India Is” initiative. The campaign, which was launched in 2011 with support of the ‘Incredible India’ campaign, is a crowd sourcing initiative that invites a global audience to participate and share their perceptions and experiences about India. The “India Is” photography competition is slated to start from August 2012 while the video competition will start from December 2012. Both the competitions are expected to capture various facets of India, the Taj Group said in a statement.
