Tata Motors today reported 8.25 per cent decline in global sales, including that of Jaguar Land Rover, at 73,535 units in July.
It had sold 80,151 units in the same month last year.
In the passenger vehicles category, global sales last month stood at 43,257 units, down 11.72 per cent. It had sold 49,001 units in July 2014, the company said in a statement.
Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover declined by 17.48 per cent at 32,568 units during the month as compared to 39,467 units during the same month a year ago.
Sales of commercial vehicles were at 30,278 units in July as against 31,150 units during the year—ago month, down 2.79 per cent.
