The Pune-based energy and environment solutions major Thermax Ltd has announced a 17.7 per cent decline in its first quarter net profit. The company’s profit after tax stood at ₹41.4 crore in the quarter under review against ₹50.3 crore in the same quarter of last year. The operating revenue at ₹839.4 crore against ₹862.8 crore in Q1 2014, stood lower by 2.7 per cent.At the consolidated level, Thermax Q1 profit took a greater hit with net down by 67 per cent at ₹17.3 crore against ₹52.9 crore in the same quarter of 2013.
