RealPage, a provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry, is on expansion mode in India. It has strengthened its leadership team to meet its business plans.
Founded in Richerdson in Texas, US, RealPage, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, plans to expand its footprint in India and has forecasted a growth of 15-20 per cent for 2019.
Parent company RealPage, Inc. is a publicly traded, leading global provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry, serving 12,300 clients from offices in North America, Europe and Asia. It aims to be a $1 billion revenue company by 2020.
From its Centre in Hyderabad, RealPage India provides core engineering capability, operational support and content services with a team of over 1,000, with plans to expand to 1,200 team members in 2019.The India Centre works closely with RealPage’s other global hubs in London, Philippines and the United States.
During a media event here, Ashley Glover, RealPage COO, said, “RealPage India typifies our philosophy of innovation and simplicity. Their expertise in data science—with a specific focus on data analytics, AI and machine learning—will be a chief driver of our expansion efforts in India.”
To manage operations at the Hyderabad Centre and provide further impetus for expansion plans, Sandeep Sharma has been appointed Managing Director for India. Sharma said, “My focus will be making RealPage India a hub of opportunity for highly talented team members while keeping innovation and simplicity at the heart of our operations. We want to be known as both a dynamic growth engine and a great place to work.”
