TTK Healthcare plans to invest about Rs 40 crore in the next couple of years in the region to set up new facilities to expand its food business.
“The company is bringing into focus branded pellets (Papads). With the (food) division now earning profits, the company will be making further investments in the region of Rs 40 crore in next couple of years in setting up new facilities,” Chennai-based TTK Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE.
The company is vigorously pursuing activities to bring out new products as well as improvements existing products, it added.
TTK Healthcare said the proposed Rs 40 crore investments for expansion would be raised through internal accruals.
Shares of the company closed 1.58 per cent higher from its previous close at Rs 409.10 apiece on the BSE.
