TTK Prestige Ltd profits are flat at Rs 30.30 crore for the second quarter of financial year 2013-14 compared with Rs 30.28 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s total income from operations is higher by 2.97 per cent at Rs 345.54 crore against Rs 335.55 crore. EPS stood at Rs 26.03 (Rs 26.75).

“Despite depressed market sentiments in southern states, we have managed to hold on to our sales. Tamil Nadu and Kerala market was depressed, while Andhra Pradesh was very depressed,” said T T Jagannathan, chairman TTK Prestige Ltd. “There was good growth of 34 per cent in non-south markets. During Q3, we expect to do well in Kerala, where things have begun to show up,” he added.

First-half

Company’s profits for first-half of FY 2013-14 are down by 7.98 per cent at Rs 56.09 crore compared with Rs 60.96 crore in the same period last year.

Total income from operations in H1 is higher by 2.16 per cent at Rs 651.87 crore compared with Rs 638.08 crore in the same period last year.
