TVS Motor Co has sold 1,64,128 vehicles in June, a 2.7 per cent fall, compared with 1,68,693 units sold during the month a year ago.
The company sold 1,57,351 two-wheelers during the month under review, compared with 1,65,438 units during the same month a year ago. It sold 1,37,331 vehicles (1,47,893 units in June 2012) during the month, TVS Motor said in a statement.
Its motorcycles sales stood at 59,015 vehicles (61,274 units) and scooter sales at 38,684 scooters (38,166 units) during the month.
The company's total exports grew 32 per cent to 26,047 units in June 2013 (19,750 units), while two-wheeler exports posted a 14 per cent growth with sales of 20,020 units (17,545 units).
TVS Motor Co’s three-wheeler sales grew to 6,777 units in June, compared with 3,255 units sold during the same month a year ago.
