Packaging company Uflex has reported a rise of 19.39 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 77.74 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 65.11 crore for the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal, Uflex said in a filing to the BSE.
However, its total income on consolidated basis was down 8.10 per cent to Rs 1,524.87 crore during the quarter as against Rs 1,659.38 crore in the year-ago period.
Uflex’s consolidated net profit for the first half of FY 2015-16 was up 19.18 per cent to Rs 153.92 crore as against a net profit of Rs 129.14 crore in the same period a year ago.
However, its total income during the first half of the current fiscal was down 2 per cent to Rs 3,125.50 crore as against Rs 3,189.48 crore in the same period a year ago.
Shares of Uflex were trading at Rs 179.70, down 0.22 per cent from previous close.
