PA Murali, a key associate of former liquor baron Vijay Mallya who continued to hold the important portfolio of finance at United Spirits even after it was taken over by the London-based Diageo, has resigned.
Murali resigned as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the company and from the board of directors of all subsidiaries of the company on which he was a director, a statement from USL said.
