UST Global wins three TISS-Leapvault CLO awards

UST Global has won three awards at the Tata Institute of Social Science-Leapvault CLO Awards India-2015 held during the sixth edition of CLO Chief Learning Officer Summit in Mumbai recently.

TISS-Leapvault CLO Awards India is a premier event attended by leaders in corporate learning, coaching, organisation and leadership development.

Twin awards

For the second year in a row, UST Global was conferred the ‘Global L&D Team of the Year’ in the silver category.

Madana Kumar, senior director and global head-learning and development at UST Global, was honoured with two individual awards in the gold category.

Kumar won the ‘Global CLO Chief Learning Officer of the Year’ Award and ‘CLO Chief Learning Officer of the Year’ Award for the second consecutive year.

He was recognised for his role in transforming the learning and development vertical at UST Global and for steering its training wing.

Power panel

The winnings establish the company’s proficiency in delivering effective business solutions and addressing performance issues, said Manu Gopinath, global head, human resources, UST Global.

As a power panel speaker at the summit, Madana Kumar shared his views on ‘Increasing the success of the organisational learning programmes.’

He shared his thoughts with co-panellists comprising directors from Hershey's, Axis Bank, Blue Star and Mars Enterprises.

He also gave anecdotes on UST Global's success stories with campaigns such as ‘Step It Up America’ and how the company up-skills professionals in order to fulfil immediate candidate requirements.
