Water treatment player VA Tech WABAG Ltd has registered a dip in its net profits for the quarter ending September 30, 2018 at Rs 28.49 crore.

The city-based company had registered profits at Rs 37.63 crore during year ago period, VA Tech WABAG said in a BSE filing. For the half year ending September 30,2018 net profits of the company slipped to Rs 42.70 crore, from Rs 47.80 crore registered during the corresponding period of last year.

Total income for the July-September period declined to Rs 752.41 crore from Rs 886.77 crore registered year ago. For the six-month period ending September 30, 2018 total income stood at Rs 1,440.91 crore as against Rs 1,557.29 crore registered year ago.

The Managing Director and Group CEO Rajiv Mittal said, “we are happy that the group continues to deliver profitable growth and with the momentum gained through successive major order wins during first half of this fiscal, we are confident of delivering strong performance in the coming quarters.”
