LoveCycles, a women’s health tracker has raised Rs 5 crore from Prime Venture Partners.
This is the first investment made by the early stage seed investment company in the healthcare sector.
LoveCycles, is an app through which women can record their menstrual and physical health, associated symptoms to help them manage it better. It is founded by John Paul, an engineer who says that the app has 1.2 million users every month and has clocked 6 million downloads across the world.
According to Amit Somani, Managing Partner at Prime Venture Partners, the funding will help LoveCycles to increase its presence in India, a country where 70 per cent of all reproductive diseases are caused due to poor menstrual hygiene.
