Gurgaon-based premium bus service start-up Yolobus has raised $3.3 million in Series A round of financing. Nexus Venture Partners led the investment round, along with investment from India Quotient. This brings Yolobus’ total funding raised since inception to $4.1 million.
Suvir Sujan, Managing Director of Nexus Venture Partners, and Anand Lunia, General Partner, India Quotient, will be joining the board of Yolobus. The funds raised will be used to double down its investments across technology, customer and crew safety, sanitisation, territory expansion plans, and hiring for roles across technology, product, marketing and on-ground staff.
Yolobus will resume operations with precautionary measures for every trip such as checking every passenger with infra-red temperature measuring guns before boarding.
