The Yenepoya Medical College at Deralakatte in Mangalore will conduct a two-day conference on ‘Safety and quality aspects in hospitals' from February 5. A press release said here that the conference will focus on issues such as ‘quality perspectives in healthcare', ‘accreditation of hospitals' and ‘quality versus cost implications', among others. Nearly 250 delegates from various fields of healthcare delivery services would participate in the conference, it said. Mr I.M. Vittal Murthy, Principal Secretary, Karnataka Department of Medical Education, will inaugurate the conference, the release added.
