The Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) and the Belgaum Small Scale Industries’ Association (BSSA) have called for a Belgaum trade bandh on May 14 (Monday).
The industry associations have called the bandh to condemn the manhandling and abuse of Belgaum Chamber president, Mr Basavraj Javali, by Mr Abhay Patil, MLA, Dakshin Belgaum, over road works taken up in the Belgaum Vishweswariah Industrial Park (VIP).
The President of BCCI and BSSIA has requested the trade and industrial fraternity to close their businesses on that day and join the morcha along with their workers and family members.
