Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, the engineering and software subsidiary of German automobile components major Bosch in India, on Tuesday launched its state—of—the—art Electronic Control Unit Reliability Testing Centre here.
The new facility would be used for conducting reliability tests including accelerated life time tests on automotive products and components and also to test products and components from industrial, building and consumer goods domains, Mr Vijay Ratnaparkhe, President, RBEI, told reporters.
With this new testing centre, the company would be able to cover the entire span of the product development lifecycle from conceptualisation to design to testing, thereby ensuring that a product that is the “best in class” is delivered to the customers, Mr Ratnaparkhe said.
Stating that the RBEI here has invested Rs 135 crore during the past four years and also nearly Rs 50 crore as combined investment in both Bangalore and Coimbatore for this type of lab facility, he said the company would pump in more investments for its future projects, which would be announced shortly.
