If the plans of the Karnataka Government materialise, Mr Warren E. Buffett, Chairman, Berkshire Hathaway, could be the chief guest at the Global Investors' Meet in 2012.
The Karnataka Chief Minister, Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa, has not only extended the invitation, but also urged Mr Buffett to explore investment opportunities in the State, when Mr Buffett met him and top Government officials here on Wednesday. In response, the octogenarian billionaire said, “I look forward to doing more business in India. I came here with enough knowledge of the Indian economy and that has been reinforced”.
He also said that he had made the right decision to first land in the IT hub on his first India trip.
