The Mangalore branch of ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) has said that the students appearing from the Mangalore centre for the CA Final examination and CPT (common proficiency test), conducted in May 2011, have performed well.
A press release by Mr Chandramohan K.Y., Chairman of the Mangalore branch of ICAI, said here that out of 107 students who appeared for CA Final examination, 27 have cleared it, registering 25 per cent results.
Out of 493 students who appeared for the CPT, 112 students have passed, registering 23 per cent results.
Mr Chandramohan said that the CA Study Centre of the Mangalore branch of ICAI will begin the commencement of regular coaching classes of six-month duration for the students appearing for the IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) and CA Final examination to be held in May 2012, from August 1.
