Come Sunday, Delhiites can beat the chill by spicing up their brains with nuggets of information from the corporate and financial world.
Cerebration, Business Line ’s day-long corporate quiz, after brain-storming Chennai, Hyderabad and Coimbatore, is opening the floor to Delhiites on January 13 at India Habitat Centre.
Cerebration precedes an online quiz that saw the participation of over 115 teams in just three weeks.
The top 85 teams were shortlisted to participate in the regional finals. These include Deloitte, YES Bank, HCL Technologies, NTPC, IndianOil, BPCL, Birla Institute of Management Technology, State Bank of India, Sun Pharma, GAIL, Godrej & Boyce, Bajaj Allianz, the Central Secretariat, IMT Ghaziabad, the Reserve Bank of India, Group M, Press Trust of India and others.
To be anchored by quiz master Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramanian, registration for the quiz will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a preliminary test at 11 a.m.
There’s more in store. There will be an audience quiz, too, with exciting prizes on offer.
So, members of the audience are advised to register themselves at www.blquiz.com or call Ashish Saxena on 9899979045.
In Chennai, the quizzing wizard combo of Sreekanth G. and Jayakanthan R. of TCS have already stormed into the national finals. Hyderabad, too, saw a spirited competition between domestic and multinational firms such as Novartis, Reckitt & Benckiser, TCS, Infosys, Sai Mitra Construction, VSP and Vizag Steel. But Visakhapatnam Steel Plant’s J. Rahul and A.G.K. Murthy stole the show by beating them all.
The title sponsor for Cerebration, being conducted in Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, is Corporation Bank.
The associate sponsors are National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange and SAIL Hotel. Participants will also win gifts, sponsored by Raymond Weil, App Tabs and Lawrence & Mayo.
