Mr Rajan Bharti Mittal, President, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said: “We welcome the Survey's emphasis on skill development and promotion of innovation as potential engines of growth for the country. We suggest greater corporate involvement in farming activities and higher investments in the farm sector for ushering in a second Green Revolution. However, we believe that although fiscal consolidation is important as stated by the survey, it should not squeeze the growth momentum as this would adversely hit employment generation.
