The Centre for Environment and Development is organising the seventh Kerala Environment Congress for three days from Thursday at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology here.
Mr G. Karthikeyan, Speaker, Assembly, will inaugurate the congress. The theme of the event is Energy and Environment – Issues, Challenges and Potentials, a spokesman for the organisers said here.
Ms K. Chandrika, Mayor, Thiruvananthapuram, will preside over the function. Dr M. Radhakrishna Pillai, Director of the biotechnology centre, will deliver a special address. Prof V. K. Damodaran, Chairman, CED, will deliver the keynote address.
