Ways to transform human capital were discussed on the second day of the HR Conclave organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry here today.

Most human resources executives see this transformation as the vehicle they can use to refocus their organisations on the right business issues.
It was pointed out that human resources had an important role to play in strategic talent management at the planning, design and modelling stages.
Anand Pillai, Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Learning Officer of Reliance Industries, said every employee in an organisation should build a personal brand.
“The first thing is that you have to believe in yourself and then others will believe in you,” he pointed out.
B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, CMD of Infotech Enterprises Ltd, pointed out that the challenges of today were different due to businesses witnessing tremendous transformation. “Hence organisations need to possess a global outlook to manage this kind of workforce,” he added.
The conference focussed on learning, branding and use of mobile technology in this process, apart from the new HR agenda.
