After his Q&A session with the captive audience was over, the Planning Commission head seemed to be in no mood to take any chances in the presence of the Opposition leader Ms Sushma Swaraj.
So, no sooner did the FICCI Secretary-General, Mr Amit Mitra, requested him to wrap up his speech and announced the arrival of Ms Swaraj, Mr Ahluwalia declared that it was time for him to beat a hasty retreat and leave the floor for her. He didn’t even want to wait for the vote of thanks.
