A team of students from Indian School of Business (ISB) has won a ‘campus engagement' contest conducted by PepsiCo India.
The contest – ‘Become Indra's Advisors' – provided business school students with an opportunity presenting their challenge solution to PepsiCo's Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, Ms Indra Nooyi at PepsiCo's headquarters at Purchase, New York.
Recommendations
The students were asked to come up with recommendations for food or beverage options that drive experience especially that of regional cuisine and in a value format to the local consumer.
Winning team
The winning three-member team of Henna Mehta, Komal Gurnani and Mili Kapoor walked away with the trophy after defeating five other finalists for the opportunity to travel to New York.
They had also bagged pre-placement offers at PepsiCo India.
The first and the second runners-up received cash prizes of Rs 1.50 lakh, Rs 1.20 lakh respectively and pre-placement interviews.
Many teams from management institutes including Indian Institutes of Management, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and National Institute of Industrial Engineering – Mumbai had participated in the contest, according to a release.
