A team of the IT industry in the State will take part in the 11th edition of IndiaSoft 2011, an exclusive international IT event highlighting the achievements of the country's IT sector.

The two-day event will take place during the international IT exhibition and conference at Pune on Friday and Saturday, an official spokesman said here.
The team is being co-led by the Chief Executive Officer of Technopark, Mr Mervin Alexander, and the Chief Executive Officer of Infopark and Cyberpark, Mr Binu Pazhoor.
Among the State-based companies being represented at the event are Revenue Med India, Waybeo Technology Solutions, Mindsoft Technologies India, Muziris Softech, Kriti Microsystems and Artin Dynamics.
MARKETING PITCH
The Assistant Marketing Manager, Technopark, Ms Geeta Gopalakrishnan, and her counterpart from Infopark, Mr Arun Rajeevan, are also attending the event.
The team will utilise the occasion to mount a marketing pitch for infrastructure such as the Technocity, Technopark-Kollam, Infopark-Cherthala, the second phase of Infopark and Infopark-Koratty.
IndiaSoft 2011 will offer a deep insight into the pattern of organic and inorganic growth in IT. The exhibition shall display a world of IT innovations comprising IT products and services.
MAJOR THRUST
Several companies use this platform as a launch pad for latest innovative IT products and solutions.
The major thrust will be to foster the commercialisation of new and emerging technologies by creating strategic alliances between Indian and the global IT buyers.
The event will also have highly business-oriented session highlighting the insight and intelligence to learn to tap the IT potential globally, based on real-world experience.
The event will also facilitate building of competencies by providing Indian participants an in-depth understanding about technology, market development and demand dynamics.
It is expected to feature 120-hosted buyers from entire Latin America, Africa, CIS and Asean regions and 45 buyers from France, Spain and Germany.
