Mr Edward J. Coelho has been elected President of the Mangalore Custom House Agents' Association (MCHAA) for 2012-14.
A press release said here that the recent annual general meeting of the association has unanimously elected a new team of office-bearers for executive committee. Other office-bearers are: Mr Gangadhar Shetty and Mr Shareef M. (Vice-Presidents); Mr Charles Stephens (Honorary Secretary); Mr Karunesh Shetty and Mr A.S. Rai (honorary joint-secretaries); Mr Y. Narendra Shenoy (honorary treasurer); and Mr Philip C.C. (immediate past president).
Following are the members of the executive committee: Mr B.N. Malli, Mr J. Balakrishna Kottari, Mr Francis A. Fernandes, Mr Jeethan Sequeira, Mr Ashok Ullal, Mr Venu, and Mr Ganesh Bhat. Mr M. Shekhara Pujari, former President of the association, has been nominated as the advisor.
