Manipal to hold management festival ‘Kurukshetra'

The Student Forum of Manipal Institute of Management (MIM) will conduct a management festival – ‘Kurukshetra' – at Manipal on February 18 and 19.

A press release said here on Tuesday that more than 300 students from various business schools will participate and compete for the championship trophy.


The fest will consist of events such as ‘Paarthasarthi' (best CEO), ‘Gaandeevam' (finance event), ‘Mahamantra' (marketing event), ‘Sandhaana' (HR event), ‘Yaksha Prashne' (business quiz), ‘Yuddha Bhoomi' (operations and IT), and ‘Kalakshetra' (cultural event).

Mr Anup Naik, Director-Architecture of SpaceMatrix, Bangalore, will be the chief guest at the inaugural programme, and Mr Shailendra Marathe, Director-Capital Markets, Dell Services, will be the guest of honour, the release said.

Dr G.K. Prabhu, Registrar of the Manipal University, will preside over the function.

Prof Ramakrishna Chadaga, Director of Manipal Institute of Management, will be present on the occasion, the release added.
