The Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs has planned to tie up with Google, IndiaPost and BSNL for spreading the information about securities investments.
The Corporate Affairs Minister Sachin Pilot said on Saturday that the tie-ups were to bridge the knowledge gap regarding securitised instruments and the investment regulations.
Ahead of passage of the Companies Bill 2012 in Rajya Sabha, the Ministry is attempting to create pathways for easy access to information related to proposed regulations awaiting enactment. The Bill, which has been passed by Lok Sabha, may come up for discussion in the Upper House in the on-going seven-week Budget session.
“We have asked the Rajya Sabha Chairman for accommodations of the Bill in the Budget session. It would be piloted once formal nod is received,” the Minister told reporters after a meeting here organised by ICSI and MCC on Saturday.
