Mr L. Krishnan, Managing Director, Taegutec India, will be the new Chairman, CII Karnataka State Council for the next fiscal.
He was the Vice-Chairman, CII Karnataka during 2011-12, and was Convenor, Manufacturing Panel of CII Karnataka. Mr Krishnan is also the Executive Committee Member of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA), and has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, marketing, application and sales of industrial products, a press statement from the CII said.
Mr Soumitra Bhattacharya, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Bosch, will be the new Vice-Chairman, CII Karnataka.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, he is Chairman of Consumer Affairs Committee of ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India) and was the Convenor-HR Panel, CII Karnataka, during 2010-11, according to the statement.
