Oil prices were mixed in the Asian trade today with the closing down of two North Sea oil fields compounding supply cuts from the closure of an Alaskan pipeline to support markets.
New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in February, rose six cents to $91.17 a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for February delivery fell seven cents to $97.54.
