Premji happy to win Padma Vibhushan
Mr Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro Limited, expressed his pleasure after winning the Padma Vibhushan . In a statement released by Wipro, he said, “It's an honour to be conferred with the Padma Vibhushan . This honour is equally for the IT industry, which has had a significant role in the growth of India over the past three decades, as it is for my colleagues and partners, at Wipro and at the Foundation.” Mr Premji was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2005.
