The Sourashtra Chamber of Commerce is organising its first major trade and industrial conference - SITCON 2011- here on April 23 and 24.
The Chamber President, Mr C.K. Sekar, in a statement said that apart from those in Madurai, businessmen from Chennai, Bangalore, Kumbakonam, Dindigul and Tirunelveli will take part in the event. An exhibition with 70 stalls has been arranged.
A new award — SITCON STAR 2011 — has been instituted and would be awarded to socially conscious young entrepreneur during the conference.
The proceedings at the conference are being held under the guidance of the Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organization, Chennai.
