An offer made to potential solar power developers in Tamil Nadu by the Tamilnadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) to “help you understand the finer points” of the recently-announced guidelines of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, drew a blank.
Only two people turned up today — the first day of the two-day “Presentation and Guidance”, and one of them was ITCOT, a consultancy partly-owned by the Tamil Nadu government, sources in TEDA confirmed to Business Line .
An e-mail, which was sent to over 200 potential developers and consultants on Tuesday, said the event was “for those keen on submitting the ‘request for selection' in time.”
The RFS relates to the Batch-II of bids under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission of the government of India.
