Our request to the Government is to set aside money for spending in information technology, particularly in areas such as healthcare and education, as technology can make a big difference.

We think, the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) need to be encouraged, both our companies as well as users. On the SME front, issues such as lack of infrastructure, which results in increased costs, should be offset. That’s been a request.

We have Software Export Zone (SEZ) policies, which has been very good, we have asked for reforms of that, like the land requirements.

With the present floor space index (FSI) levels so high, and it won’t be 25 acres either in big cities or small cities.

There are certain areas, where we have asked for rationalisation of the taxes, particularly because of the amount of litigation that happens. This vitiates the business environment, and that’s an issue. We have asked streamlining of the taxes.

We have also asked the Government to clarify transfer pricing (price at which divisions of a company transact with each other) norms. Transfer pricing is an important issue and it needs to be resolved for India to become a hub, wherein we do development here and multi-national companies would come and generate jobs.

The Budget should be growth-oriented. We need to create an environment so that there is an increase in investments and industries grow. There are areas such as cloud, mobile, Internet and analytics are all new areas where people are coming in. We seeing some new trends in entrepreneurship and it’s not from people with lot of experiences, and these are areas which are important. We need to build a strong eco-system, and that’s what we are working with the Government.
