The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday gave its nod to various industrial projects involving a total investment of Rs 24,230 crore.
The projects were from Indian Oil Corporation, Mahindra & Mahindra, Apollo Tyres, Madras Cements, Samsung India and 10 other companies, an official release said here.
Through these investments, over 15,000 jobs are expected to be created in the state, it said.
Deputy Chief Minister, Mr M K Stalin, presented the contingency expenses and the government orders to the respective company officials at the Secretariat, it said.
Industries Secretary, Mr Rajeev Ranjan, and other senior government officials were also present at the occasion.
