US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Robert Blake is travelling to India this week to participate in the US-India-Japan trilateral consultations, an official announcement said here.
After New Delhi visit, he would travel to Kabul to hold bilateral consultations with senior Afghan officials.
“In New Delhi, Assistant Secretary Blake will meet with Indian government officials and participate in the third round of the US-Japan-India trilateral consultations,” the State Department had said in a statement yesterday.
“In Kabul, Blake will meet with various government and business leaders to discuss ways to advance the New Silk Road vision of connecting Afghanistan to the rest of South and Central Asia,” it said.
