After establishing its foothold in the preschool segment, Zee Learn Ltd plans to expand its presence in the 10+2 school segment through its Mount Litera Zee Schools.

The educational arm of Essel Group, Zee Learn, plans to set up 150 Mount Litera schools in the next two years, said Mr Girish Nagpal, national head – enrolments, Zee Learn.

The company currently has 100 such schools across the country.

“We will give a special thrust on establishing Mount Litera schools in the next two years. Though we currently offer only CBSE curriculum, but moving forward we also plan to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum thereby making it an international school,” Mr Nagpal said here on Thursday.

Zee Learn primarily follows the franchisee model for its school and preschool formats. “Nearly 95 per cent of our educational set up is in the franchisee model and we earn a royalty,” he said.
