Arabica Plantation coffees grades on sale at Indian Coffee Trade Association (ICTA) have received limited enquiries.
According to auctioneer J Thomas & Company, “Arabica Plantation coffees on sale saw sellers' price expectation much higher than the buyers' interest.”
Arabica Cherry coffees received good support from exporters as well as from the domestic trade. At the ICTA, exporters continued to be very active on Robusta Parchment coffees on offer.
Robusta Cherry coffees received good support from the domestic roasters and merchant trade. Coffees from the non traditional area (NTA) of Andhra Pradesh put up for sale by Coffee Board met with good support . Here, the seller's price indication met buyer's interest.
Arabica Plantation PB grade coffees sold at price similar to last week, also grade AA and MNEB sold on similar range, B grade price were lower by Rs 100 for 50-kg bag when compared to last weeks level, A and C grade remained unsold.
Arabica Cherry PB grade remained unsold. Robusta Parchment coffee price were higher by Rs 350-650 when compared to last week's sale.
Robusta Cherry coffee sold at last weeks price. Arabica Plantation, Arabica Cherry and Robusta Cherry BBB price was lower by Rs 135-425 , Robusta parchment BBB remained unsold.
