The University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (UAS-D), plans to hold its annual Krishi Mela – 2014 for four days from September 27.
According to Dr M. B. Chetti, Director of Extension, UAS-D, the mela to be held at the main campus at Dharwad, would have the theme ‘Soil Health - Farmer Wealth’.
Different stakeholders, namely, producers and manufacturers of agricultural inputs, distributors, dealers, extension functionaries of Government and non-Government organisations and scientists from different research organisations are expected to participate.
